Junior Olympics
Each year, our parish proudly takes part in the Junior Olympics, an annual event organized by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago. This highly anticipated gathering brings together Orthodox youth of all ages, from young children just starting in sports to high school students, for a weekend of athletic competition, teamwork, and fellowship.

The Junior Olympics is more than just a sports event—it is a vibrant celebration of faith, community, and healthy competition. Students have the opportunity to meet peers from other parishes, develop new skills, cheer on their teammates, and experience the joy of working together toward common goals. Through a variety of activities and games, participants grow in sportsmanship, leadership, and friendship, all within the context of our Orthodox Christian faith.

Our parish looks forward to this event every year as a chance to strengthen bonds within our youth, foster a sense of pride and accomplishment, and create lasting memories that highlight the importance of community, service, and faith-filled fun.
